New panoramah! factory,
a place for production, meetings, and collaboration
designed by Eduardo Souto de Moura
One more milestone
A few days ago, panoramah! reached another important milestone with the opening of its new factory, designed by Eduardo Souto de Moura.
In this special moment, we had the opportunity to welcome many friends from all over the world and to listen to the inspiring thoughts of Eduardo Souto de Moura, Fritz Neumeyer and Jorge Figueira.
The vision
More than an industrial facility, this project emerged from a shared ambition: to create a place that brings people together — a space for work, reflection, research and dialogue. The building was conceived not simply as a factory, but as a laboratory, a workshop and a living archive.
Organized as a composition of different volumes around a central courtyard — almost like a small village — the building reflects a vision of industry that aspires to more than efficiency. It aspires to quality, identity and emotion
Why Eduardo Souto de Moura?
Our relationship with Eduardo Souto de Moura spans more than 30 projects. Over the years, this collaboration has continuously challenged us to think differently and to improve the way we design, produce and build. What started as the idea of a factory gradually evolved into something more complex and meaningful: a place to receive people, to study and preserve prototypes and samples, to investigate solutions, and to cultivate conversations around architecture.
The commitment
This factory represents our belief that architecture is not an added cost, but a strategic investment. A building is measured by the way it organizes space, receives light, ages over time, and integrates into its surroundings. It should improve the experience of those who work within it, those who visit it, and the place where it belongs.
At panoramah!, we see ourselves as a tool in service of architects — a company of architects working for architects. This defines how we think, develop products, and understand the ambitions and demands behind every project. This building is an affirmation of that commitment: creating the conditions for architecture to happen. What was once a drawing on paper is now a place designed not only for production, but also for meetings, conversations, and collaboration.
That is what we inaugurated together with many of our dearest friends!
