Barangaroo

panoramic! has produced the first curved filigree window with a concealed frame.

Located in a pivotal location in Sydney’s Barangaroo South precinct, in a lend-lease area with many top-tier architect-designed buildings, this iconic structure by Collins and Turner Architects has been transformed into an independent restaurant by internationally acclaimed chef Matt Moran of Solotel Hospitality Group.

Spread across three floors and a rooftop terrace are numerous indoor and outdoor spaces with an informal atmosphere, where exquisite cuisine is served.

The building’s rounded shapes convey a soft organic quality, clad in linear dowels of charred timber and featuring curved glass walls. panorama! manufactured the first curved minimalist windows with a concealed frame specifically for this project. Additional improvements were incorporated, such as an adjustable threshold for precise leveling of the lower frame and a more efficient drainage system.
