Exterior view of Alentejo House in Grândola, Portugal, featuring minimalist architecture with wood cladding, flat roof, and large panoramah! ah!38 windows.

Alentejo House

Have a look at this smoothely integrated avant-garde house in Alentejo, where entire walls of glass and wood open up to the peaceful landscape, blurring the lines between inside and outside.

Located in Alto Alentejo – a remote region of Portugal – this clean-lined house designed by the portuguese architect Gonçalo Bonniz is fully merged into the landscape.

A mesh of concrete and Kebony Clear wood finishes, harmonized with the local colour pallet, offer for perfect integration in the land morphology and atmosphere.

The villa integrates our ah!38 sliding aluminum casement system that explores the structural properties of glass and large glazed areas with the use of vertical, minimal (slender) aluminum profiles.

Our bespoke wooden shutters blend in nicely with the local tree line and the pocket sliding solutions, enable the design brief of opening up the building to the landscape, colours and sunlight.
