Building Views will be launched! This first public presentation will focus on Richard Neutra’s architecture and his contribution to the development of sliding glass doors and windows. In this session, Neutra’s sons – Dion and Raymond – will discuss with Eduardo Souto de Moura, an author whose work incorporated much of the legacy of Richard Neutra and Californian modern architecture, adopting sliding window/ walls extensively. Souto de Moura was also one of the first architects to use minimalist windows, largely contributing for the success of this type of window. Architecture critic Jorge Figueira and the editor of the book Carlos Machado e Moura will join the conversation.
